Beta Heart

UPDATE: "Whipping Boy" Ramona's Heart
Here are 3 screenshots of the mechanical heart I designed from the short film "Whipping Boy", directed by Michael Chance. The challenge was high and very interesting as I was tasked to imagine and design a conceptual heart device that looked very functional. After hours of researches, studies of the human heart, a deep understanding of technologies and a few concept ideas, I finally developed this concept, based on the Abiocor -a synthetic pump that can be transplanted as a fully operational heart- with the great support of the VFX team and the movie director.

Whipping Boy is out!

The wait is finally over as "Whipping Boy", the short film I've worked on as concept artist during 3 months, reaches the air! A big thank you to the talented director Michael R Chance and VFX supervisors Deborah Santosa / Jesse Boots who have put their trust in me for this amazing project.

Whipping Boy

It's been a long while since I didn't post anything here. The reason for this being that I've been very busy working on several very exciting projects. Which I plan to post more details about when the time comes.

Coming out in November, my work done on the upcoming short film "WHIPPING BOY", directed by the talented Michael Chance (director of "PROJECT ARBITER" short film) and his amazing team, Jesse Boots & Deborah Santosa. In this project started last February, I had the chance to work as concept artist and matte painter for several months in close collaboration with the team.

2 min Lava ghoul sketch

Getting my brother inspired by sketching this lava-eater ghoul in a very active volcano river.

Quick study sketch done while talking live with my brother who lives in France and who wants to attend FZD. Fun night studying light, volumetric fog and compo from a blank page. 3 people crossing a foggy river while stumbling upon an old plane crash scene without even noticing it.
