DELOREAN UPDATE: HOVERBOARD

We are gearing-up for production on the Fan-made DeLorean live action project... Therefore, I had the time to have fun and re-think the original girly pink hoverboard from Back to the Future.
Stay tuned for more and feel free to register to get exclusive news about the project progress here:

Virtual Garage update

Very promising progress so far on Unreal-4 engine. Struggling with UVMap unwrapping. I'm running another project in parallel so the garage will evolve at the pace of my free time slowly flowing here and there ;-) You can also find updates about my progress on my official website HERE.

DELVE: GunShip vehicle design

Delve is a short film I worked on this year as concept artist. I was asked to design a gunship from sketches to 3D model to Look-Development. The outcome is pretty cool! I'm very thankful to have been given the opportunity to work with/for such a talented and reactive team. I will post here my work, sketches, 3D renders etc of the ship as soon as the film has premiered.

Beta Heart

UPDATE: "Whipping Boy" Ramona's Heart
Here are 3 screenshots of the mechanical heart I designed from the short film "Whipping Boy", directed by Michael Chance. The challenge was high and very interesting as I was tasked to imagine and design a conceptual heart device that looked very functional. After hours of researches, studies of the human heart, a deep understanding of technologies and a few concept ideas, I finally developed this concept, based on the Abiocor - a synthetic pump that can be transplanted as a fully operational heart- with the great support of the VFX team and the movie director.

Whipping Boy

It's been a long while since I didn't post anything here. The reason for this being that I've been very busy working on several very exciting projects. Which I plan to post more details about when the time comes.

Coming out in November, my work done on the upcoming short film "WHIPPING BOY", directed by the talented Michael Chance (director of "PROJECT ARBITER" short film) and his amazing team, Jesse Boots & Deborah Santosa. In this project started last February, I had the chance to work as concept artist and matte painter for several months in close collaboration with the team.

Orange Speed Machine WIP

Guys, here is the WIP orange ship I'm working on during my (limited) free time. I've been watching my original sketch and wanted to go to 3D for a while now. Also I'm curious to see what I could get from this original sketch once switching into surfaces and details while making improvements here and there in Alias...

Extreme-G Racing

Here is a snapshot of a missile fight during the race. The deadliest missile of all being the Yellow-straight-aim-400.. Here on the image, Gray's bike avoiding the trajectory of the missile while jumping in the air.
In Extreme-G, the tracks are very creative and amazingly curvy but they still offer very high speeds. Fun fun fun!

Gentlemen, start your engines

After doing the revival of the "Grimace" futuristic bike from the Game Extreme-G, here are 4 of my favorite AI opponent bikes. The interesting and creative part of this was to imagine what the bike looks like with the only few low-res images I found on the web.
For these bikes, I tried for the first time the texture mapping onto unfolded surfaces. This way, I could draw and position every rust and dent precisely on the bike.

HDRi 4U user gallery

Hdri4u.com is a great website to get huge highly detailed hdri maps and backplates. Each month, they feature a free Hdri map to download. You should check that out!
They are awesome resources for transportation designers.

Check the user gallery to see my Lotus concept (seen in the post below)

Modern shores

Guys, here are 2 renders I did of my Lotus concept showcased on the shores, under a modern concrete structure. They are originally 7300px*5500px but I re-sized them here down to 1600px*1200px.
