Race Time!
Today, like last year, I went to the Belle Isle Grand Prix in Detroit (well, not technically in Detroit but on Belle Isle which is right on the Detroit river). I had the chance to go in the Oak Racing paddock and discuss with Nicolas Brisseau, race engineer on the proto. Good times!

Shinola, a "Made in Detroit" story
Last Friday, I went to the Shinola facility downtown Detroit to learn more about the brand and its products, especially how and where they are manufactured. Most of the bicycles built there are hand made and the level of craftsmanship is impressive. In the watch assembly lines, the air is pressurized to keep any dust from coming into the room. Very very very interesting place. This visit reminded me that "This is the Motor City, and this is what we do". Thanks a lot #Shinola for having us at your facility, keep up the amazing work.

Motor City Ultimate ice machine
As promised, here is a snapshot of my Motor City concept vehicle.
A tough and highly powerful machine on which I didn't even care thinking about steering nor seating features.
