Orange Speed Machine Process
Awaiting the 3D surface model to be finished (on hold right now. I have another big project ongoing), here's the sketch process.

Orange Speed Machine WIP
Guys, here is the WIP orange ship I'm working on during my (limited) free time. I've been watching my original sketch and wanted to go to 3D for a while now. Also I'm curious to see what I could get from this original sketch once switching into surfaces and details while making improvements here and there in Alias...

Awesomeness by Tom
Guys, check Tom McDowell's insane photo batch/sketch! I'm pleased to see him taking some of my shots and see what he transforms them into! Pretty bad-ass Tom.

Race Time!
I have a friend who is training himself for the 2013 IFMAR 1:10 Electric Off Road World Championships, which will happen from the 22nd to the 29th on this month in Chico, California. So I came along to one of his training to see what this was about... Well, very impressive speed and highly technical cars these things! Anodized components, lightweight carbon fiber frames, aluminum parts everywhere, I definitely was impressed!
Here is my friend's design blog, he is also a very talented designer: Fulien Formentin's work

Extreme-G Racing
Here is a snapshot of a missile fight during the race. The deadliest missile of all being the Yellow-straight-aim-400.. Here on the image, Gray's bike avoiding the trajectory of the missile while jumping in the air.
In Extreme-G, the tracks are very creative and amazingly curvy but they still offer very high speeds. Fun fun fun!

Gentlemen, start your engines
After doing the revival of the "Grimace" futuristic bike from the Game Extreme-G, here are 4 of my favorite AI opponent bikes. The interesting and creative part of this was to imagine what the bike looks like with the only few low-res images I found on the web.
For these bikes, I tried for the first time the texture mapping onto unfolded surfaces. This way, I could draw and position every rust and dent precisely on the bike.

Extreme-G : The revival
It's been a long time since I wanted to bring to life the futuristic bikes from the game "Extreme-G" on Nintendo 64. Well, here is one of my favorite: GRIMACE.
